![]() Simple exercises for a better swing! Less than 15 minutes a day! Do you want to find out more? |
The big buzzword in training right now is the core. All athletes, trainers and coaches are spending more time educating themselves on the core anatomy and it's role in the golf swing. With the golf swing being a rotational movement, the core from a rotational standpoint is a critical factor in producing more power.
Power does not come from swing harder! Swinging harder creates tension.and tension slows down clubhead speed. A stronger core from doing a golf workout will give you the quickest return on your investment. I'm telling you...a strong core will blast your drives long, and way down the fairway, making it easy as pie to hit your greens in regulation..
If you're thinking you need to join a gym to improve your core power for golf you're wrong. You can do an effective golf workout right in your home with minimal equipment. No gym needed! In fact, with just an exercise ball and tubing, you can do dozens of exercises to improve core power and distance.
Do you spend a lot of time at your computer? If you do...I can only guess your lower back gets stiff on a daily basis right? Well...kiss your lower back aches and pains good-bye! Here's a core stretch right in your chair! Reach around the back of your chair with one hand, and leverage the other hand against your thighs to rotate as far as you can. Hold it for 10 seconds and go to the other side.
Pretty easy right? That's how simple and easy your entire core golf workout could be. 10 minutes a day to a better game and a healthier body! How's that crab you? That's all it takes...I promise!
For starters, do the above stretch daily... and see if I'm right. I'll bet you right now, your back pain goes away!
Do want a strength exercise now?
All you've got to do is let your imagination go...and you'll be coming up with your own core exercises. Here's an easy one for you! Grab an umbrella or broom handle in your office and hold it in both hands. While sitting or standing, extend your arms straight out in front of you and while looking straight ahead, rotate with your arms as far as you can to the right holding this object. Now go the opposite direction to the left. Do this a total of 20 times.
Very quickly you'll start to notice you can go farther and farther!
I'm hoping you are getting a better understanding of what a core golf workout is that will improve your power golf swing quickly.
As a golfer, try to mimmick your golf swing as much as you can do. Take a look at the body in golf posture and try to do many exercises in this position.
