Golf Exercise In Your Office: Quick, Simple and Effective

You know that you need to improve your game, and understand the importance of golf-specific exercises in achieving this, but just cannot find the time to get to a gym. Don't worry, you are not alone. That is why I have worked on some routines to let you carry out your golf exercise in your office.

You Have Plenty Time For Golf Exercise In Your Office

It doesn't matter where you exercise for golf, in a gym, at home or in your office; the result will be the same: an improvement in your golf game.

It doesn't take long either. You can do some golf exercise in your office in just 15 seconds.that's right, only 15 seconds. Here's an example. It's a golf-related stretch exercise I call the seated twist.

Sit up with a straight back and chest lifted high. Reach behind you with your right arm. Your upper body will rotate, and you should rotate round as far back as you can and hold the position for 10 seconds. Now do the same using your left arm. Do this sequence 2-3 times.

Improve Your Golf Swing With Rotational Flexibility

As you know, the golf swing is a complex rotational movement, and carrying out this golf exercise in your office whenever you have a few seconds will improve your rotational flexibility, and thus your backswing and follow through. It's simple, quick and it's just one way you can do your golf exercise in your office.

It doesn't matter how busy you are, everybody can take 15 seconds off from their computer for a quick golf stretching exercise. This just one of many golf exercises you can carry out in you office which will improve your swing giving much greater clubhead speed and therefore greater power through your shot.

This kind of golf exercise in your office is great for your game because it helps to develop the muscles required for rotational movement that you would not normally use, other than when playing golf. In fact, you could do an entire core workout for golf in less than 10 minutes..

Golf-Related Exercise To Improve Your Weakness

I have many other suggestions how you can carry out your golf exercise in your office, and a recommendation I can make to you is to identify the areas of your game where you are weakest. One guess might be your lower back. If so, you need to incorporate back exercises for golfers. In any case, contact a golf fitness instructor, and get some quick golf-related strength and flexibility exercises to carry out in your office that will strengthen you in the areas you have identified as needing improvement.
