If you're a golfer looking to improve your game, you can't ignore golf exercises. With the popularity of fitness, exercise and golf now booming, there are a ton new golf exercise videos hitting the market. Senior golfers can see the biggest improvement.
Every golfer has physical limitations specific to their golf swing. How about you? Do you feel like you can make a full backswing with no tension? If not, exercises specific to that limitation will quickly solve that issue.
Every golf exercise video should have simple strength exercises, that don't require a gym membership or expensive equipment. I have seen many of these videos that are not condusive to doing it in your home. When I was putting my training dvds for golf together, I made sure to design all of them to be user-friendly, with minimal equipment needed.
These exercises should be progressive in nature. What I mean is that all golfers do not have the same starting point or fitness level. One thing I noticed with a lot of the golf specific exercise videos on the market was a lack of adequated stretching exercises. They were all "top heavy with very hard strength exercises, and had very few stretches to keep those golf muscles lose and receptive to your golf swing mechanics for 18 holes.
As you know...keeping your muscles lose and relaxed is critical, so any video that does not take this into consideration, is not a video you should consider if you want to improve your swing.
Don't get overwhelmed with all the new information out there! Take your time and digest as much information as you can. Pick a "trusted" resource for your golf improvement needs.
