Simple stretches, along with light resistance exercises done a couple of times a week consistently is all you need. And I'm a fitness professional! Focus On Core StrengthIf you want to get really concise and efficient...spend most of your time on core strength. This is the engine to your power! In a previous article, core strength for golf, I talk about the importance of your core and how it can tremendously improve your power, distance and overall swing. Senior Golfer = FlexibilityWe all know that the biggest complaint among senior golfers is flexibility. Range of motion in their backswing and follow through. With this being the biggest complaint...why don't more senior golfers stretch? Because they think it will hurt and take a long time to do. Well it doesn't.
