Although the courses are high and the terrain can be rough, Colorado golf schools are springing up all over the state. Not only is that an indication of the increasing popularity of golf in Colorado, but also indicative that people want to combine their golf lessons with the other delights Colorado has to offer.
There Is More To Colorado Golf Than Aspen
So what does Colorado have to offer the aspiring golfer apart from golf? Just take a look at Aspen and say no more! However, although Aspen is one of the best known sporting resorts in the world, it is not too well endowed with golf courses.

However, not all of Colorado is mountainous, though even the flatter areas are at high altitude and you will find yourself hitting farther than you have probably hit before. Do not be fooled!

Unless you have succeeded in improving your distance after your golf lessons, but even then you will drive farther in Colorado than anywhere at lower altitude.

Thus, apart from David Leadbetter in Vail, you have the Bird Golf Academy in Denver and Crested Butte, the VIP Golf Academy in Denver, as well as Aspen as previously noted, the David Peltz golf school in Cordillera in the Rocky Mountains and many others which you can find on the internet.
Colorado golf schools provide beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains, lakes and forests and the courses are magnificent. Make a list of your golfing deficiencies and another list of what you want from the vacation, other than golf.
Look carefully at what is available and negotiate for the best deal you can get, but make sure that you are covered for all of your golf list, and, if you are going with your family, most of what you can get in your other list, and both you and everyone in your family will be delighted with your golf tuition and vacation at your choice of Colorado golf school.
