How about a full golf swing like Tiger Woods once and for all? Wouldn't that be nice? The problem is...for most golfers, it's never going to happen unless...
...you address the physical issues keeping you from a golf swing that is complete and powerful. How many times has your golf teacher told you, you're not getting a full turn on your backswing? I've heard it a time or two.
I'll bet you've tried and tried to make a full backswing, but I'll bet you never quite got there. The reason I say this is most golfers have a lower level of golf specific flexibility. These tight golf muscles will become only tighter as you try to make a bigger turn.
The harder you try...the more tension you create in your muscles, which decreases your range of motion, not increases it! With better flexibility, you'll be able to make a full turn back with no tension at all. This equates into a TON of power and ultimately distance!
Are you in the over 50 age bracket? Have you seen a huge drop in your driving distance? How about your scores? Have they ballooned the past few years?
I can tell you this is all physical! It's not lack of practice or instruction! It's lack of emphasis on your body. The thing that swings the club. If it's broken, your swing is broken too!
To accomplish your goal of a full backswing, doesn't mean hitting more balls at the practice range or buying a new lesson package.. In fact, stop hitting balls and work on your body! I can guarantee you will see improvement quickly!
That full golf swing you've dreamed about will happen without you even thinking about it. Your body will do it because it has been "trained" properly.
You really need to work on your rotational flexibility, making it easier to accomplish a backswing that is full with no tension. You can do this with simple exercises right in your home, or even office! Here's an easy stretch for you while sitting in your chair. Reach around the back of your chair and rotate your upper body, while leveraging your opposite arm against the chair. This is a simple, yet very effective rotational stretch you can do all day long.
How easy was that? You don't need to go to a gym, and you don't need elaborate equipment. Just a little consistency and direction and you'll be golden!
