A Great Golfing Tip To Help You Marry Mind And Body

Any tip for better golfing that will help you to marry the confidence of your mind with your golfing ability will go a long way towards improving your whole game. I have a great golfing tip to give you, but first some background.

Golf Is Not Just In The Mind

You know, of course, that many high-powered business executives play golf because it is the done thing to do. Lots of deals are struck on the golf course and partnerships built. However, one thing these high-flyers have found difficult to understand is why they cannot improve their game as they improve their businesses.

They have built empires using the power of their minds; by having the right attitude, and determination. Yet when they come to the golf course, they are unable to transform that powerful state of mind to their golf game. That’s the basis of my golfing tip.

Lots of golfers have tried hard to get into the right state of mind for an important match but, like the executives, have found themselves unable to use that mental confidence they have achieved to make them play better golf.

Golf Needs A Conditioned Body

My golfing tip is that you must not ignore the physical side of your game. You have to understand that your physical body must be conditioned to play golf before your mental attitude can take effect. The other hint about golf I can give you is that the way to achieve that is by exercise. Not just any exercise, but golf-specific exercise; conditioning of the muscles and joints used in the complex rotational movement of your swing. Development of control over the muscles required to keep you rock solid during your putt.

Tone Your Muscles For Golf

Golf-specific weight training will improve your golfing strength without needing you to lift heavy weights and develop huge muscles. If you are concerned about the effect on your ‘feel’ for the game, don’t worry. Weight training will not make you lose your feel for golf, or impede your swing, but in fact will have the opposite effect.

Take My Hint And Use It!

If you use this tip to build up your strength for golf, you will improve your feel and control, and play much better golf as a result. It’s a great golf hint to get, so take heed off it and use it.

It will give you more power without more muscle mass, and that means more accurate distance and lower scores.
